How To Lose Those Saddlebags Fat?

Saddlebags are pockets of fat that reside along the outer side of the thighs that contribute to that pear-shaped appearance. These fats tend to form in the underdeveloped area underneath the butt and tie in with our glutes. The fats accumulated in this underdeveloped area become soft and fall toward the sides of the thighs, creating the ‘bags’ appearance. 

What causes saddlebag fat?

  • Puberty
    Saddlebag fat is more prominent in women than men due to puberty and having larger pelvis. When a female hits puberty, fats tend to be accumulated in breasts, thighs, butts and hips.

  • Genetics

  • Workout more

Focusing exercises that target glutes help to build muscles that can reduce the fat stored on the outer thighs effectively. Subsequently, plan some toning exercises to maintain your results.
